流星の猫
以前描いた「イースターエッグを探し求めて」と同じ時空。
舞台は遠い未来、人類の後継種である新人類が銀河中に広がり栄華を極めている世界。
キャラは自由に気ままに星から星へ旅するネコ族の流れ星(旅人)、年齢は銀河時間で14-E歳(地球時間で145歳)
ネコ族は終生容姿が幼いが10歳毎(地球時間で100歳)に尻尾飾りのリングを1つ増やす風習があり、リングの数で大体の年齢を判別可能、平均寿命は地球時間で1200歳。
職はさすらいの宇宙鉱夫で小惑星資源採掘がお仕事。短期で実入りが良くレア鉱石で一貫千金も狙えるが小惑星掘削作業は事故率が高いのが難点。
真空-270℃製法のスペース・ストロングゼロ(ちゅーる味)で休憩中。
装備中の軍用パイロットスーツ(発掘品)は サスペンドモード、中枢神経に作用する物質をスーツが自動的に分解・解毒してしまうために開放中。
相棒は個人用可変式試作超光速宇宙機「猫の流星号」、小型磁気単極子反応炉搭載の200宇宙馬力。
旧世界巨大星間企業スペースXX本社(廃墟)に埋もれていたコンセプトモデルを発掘再利用したもの。
その運用上の設計故に収納スペースが存在せずピーキーな造りでかなり使い勝手が悪い。
3000パーセク以上の超光速航行で搭乗者を置き去りにする致命的な欠陥があり、ついたあだ名がG-STRIDER(GalaxyStrider)
後付けパーツとして宇宙機用レーザー掘削機×1(故障中)・汎用小型レーザー切断機×1
背景の場所は絶滅した旧人類発祥の地で自然保護惑星の地球、様々な流れ星(旅人)が集まり銀河中に散っていく交易惑星の一つ。
現在は旧人類へ叛乱を起こし、旧人類滅亡のきっかけを作った情報生命体「赤の女王」が統治中。
空のオービタルリングは惑星用超光速航行システム「女王の首飾り」
ピンクの毛玉は現地球のマスコット的存在の小動物ウサネズミ。
赤の女王が産み出した残存人類駆除用の雑食性スカベンジャー。
旧人類のみに効果がある致死毒を持ち好物は旧人類と腐肉。
毛の色が同じ流れ星(旅人)を同族と勘違いしてる模様。
G-STRIDERのモデルは実車コンセプトバイクのSUZUKI G-STRIDER。

Cat of the Meteor
This is the same time-space as "In Search of Easter Eggs," which I drew before.
The setting is the distant future, a world in which the successor species of mankind, the new human race, has spread throughout the galaxy and is flourishing.
The character is a shooting star (traveler) of the cat tribe who freely and carefreely travels from star to star, aged 14-E in galactic time (145 Earth time).
The Cat Tribe has a custom of adding a ring to their tail ornament every 10 years (100 years old in Earth time), and the number of rings can be used to determine their approximate age.
The average life expectancy is 1200 years old in Earth time. The job is short-lived, profitable, and can lead to consistent earnings from rare ores, but the drawback is the high accident rate in asteroid drilling work.
He is taking a break with Space Strong Zero (churu flavor), which is made at -270℃ vacuum.
His military pilot suit (found) is in suspend mode, and is open because the suit automatically decomposes and detoxifies substances that affect the central nervous system.
Sidekick is a personal variable prototype superluminal space plane "Cat Meteor", 200 space horsepower with a small magnetic monopole reactor.
It was excavated and repurposed from a concept model buried in the (abandoned) headquarters of the former world giant interstellar corporation Space XX.
Due to its operational design, it has no storage space, and its peaky construction makes it quite unusable.
It has a fatal flaw that leaves passengers stranded when traveling at superluminal speeds of over 3,000 parsecs, earning it the nickname G-STRIDER (Galaxy Strider).
1 laser drilling machine for spacecraft (currently out of order) and 1 general-purpose small laser cutting machine as retrofit parts.
The background location is Earth, the birthplace of the extinct old human race and a nature conservation planet, one of the trading planets where various shooting stars (travelers) gather and scatter throughout the galaxy.
It is currently ruled by the "Red Queen," an information life form that rebelled against the old humans and triggered their extinction.
The orbital ring in the sky is the "Queen's Necklace," a planetary superluminal navigation system.
The pink furball is a small animal, the Usa-rat, which is the mascot of the current planet.
The Red Queen spawned these omnivorous scavengers to exterminate the remaining humans.
They have a lethal poison that only affects the old humans, and their favorite food is old humans and carrion.
It seems to mistake shooting stars (travelers) with the same hair color for its own kind.
G-STRIDER is modeled after the SUZUKI G-STRIDER, an actual concept motorcycle.
